Message from NACWA about COVID-19/Coronavirus

NACWA is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its members and staff. The Association is actively tracking developments surrounding the spread of the COVID-19/Coronavirus in the area surrounding Seattle – our host city for the 50th Anniversary Conference and Gala. We are in touch with our members in the area, as well as other local officials, and will continue to stay apprised of the situation. There are currently no domestic travel advisories or restrictions, and no advisories or restrictions to travel to Seattle, King County or Washington State. Experts are reminding travelers to follow best-health practices, but at this time there is no indication that travel plans in the US should be altered for any public health reason. Based on the current assessment, we are proceeding with our plans to host the 50th Anniversary Conference and Gala this July in Seattle and are excited to celebrate this event with our members in the city where NACWA was formed 50 years ago.
